What is PhilESwingDance.com?
|

The PhilESwing board was originally started by Jerry Segal on Yahoo! as a way for the Philadelphia swing scene to communicate with each other. The site didn't take off until Ariston DeLeon began helping and this was the beginning.
It was soon evident that the Yahoo! message boards were not adaquate enough to handle the needs of the board. Missing things like message threads, and a continual habit of keeping users stuck on a past post, the Jerry and Ariston decided to relocate the board. They purchased a copy of the Ultimate Bulliten Board and the domain PhilESwingDance.com. That this time, more help has joined in, and produced the website that you see before you.

Who designed the layout?

That would be me, Dan Kalowsky. I am the one responsible for the ugly state of things, the colors, the graphics (so far), and the calendar system (written in PHP).
